Since some years coastal area rains and lightening have caused enorm loss and loss of lives.Sometimes we can also avoid with some measures loss.Like to put off the main switch as soon as lightening or signs of rain beginns .Try to stay away from a transformer ,or under a tree when lightening takes place.Or a high coconut tree near house.or a big tree near the house.cut branches of tree which are nearer the wires.Unfortunately our wires of electric are hanging about and free.specially where fields ,or walking way.
