Mangaluru, Jan 1: Another incident of Love Jihad has come to light in coastal district.
Explosive information of, a daughter of influential leader of a Hindu organization falling in the net of Jihad has become public. The complaint also reached the minister of defence, Nirmala Seetharaman who was in city last week. It is said that some Hindu organisations gave a petition to her regarding the issue.
The girl, final year student of SDM Law College in city, had fled with Mohammed Iqbal of Mumbai a few months ago. Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal had prepared to hold mass protests soon after the incidents became public. But due to some pressure, the protests were not held.

The girl, daughter of Kasargod based influential leader of a Hindu organization, residing in Mangaluru had come to know Iqbal through Facebook six years ago. The girl fled with the boy a few months ago.
The incident had remained a secret for some time. Meanwhile Iqbal is said to have married the girl in Mumbai.
The girl has been brought to Mangaluru now. Iqbal has complained about it to the police in Mumbai. But the girl has given an affidavit that she has come back on her own accord to stay with her parents. The affidavit has been forwarded to Maharashtra police department.
Pro-Hindu organizations however are preparing for mass protests against this and other Love Jihad incidents.
The whereabouts of the girl is not known at the moment.
