Mangaluru, Oct 5: The Alumni Executive Committee along with management and PTA of St Theresa School, on Saturday, September 30, organised ‘Twenty Years Down The Memory Lane’, an alumni meet.
The meet was organised with the purpose of doing it more often, and build and strengthen the bond among the alumni as it was indeed 'Twenty Years Down The Memory Lane'.
It was a joyous and unique amalgamation of meeting of thirteen batches after five long years. The beaming faces and cheerful smiles filled the school hall when Theresians greeted each other and expressed memories attached in their minds forever.
The programme started with assembly replayed as it used to be during the school days. The secretary of Bethany Education Society and correspondent of the School Sr Mariette deemed it a privilege to have the alumni in the school. She appreciated their sacrifice on a festive holiday to attend the same, and encouraged them to do well in life.
The school choir played the music and the power point presentation took everyone back to the good old days. A new alumni committee was elected and charge was taken over by Kavya Leeladhar as president.
The current president of alumni Annalisa Pais welcomed the gathering and Delroy Pereira compered the programme. Samantha D’Silva proposed the vote of thanks. The programme concluded with the school anthem.
