At this rate, one would end up paying only toll if traveling from Mangalore to Mumbai along the coast and the case is similar from Bangalore to Mumbai.

Where is the money gone collected through life time tax on cars and other vehicles? Who is pocketing it?

One lakh is collected on registration of every new car. Where is the money going? One needs thorough investigation of Road Transport corporation and its corrupt people and the political connection behind it.

Complete that 4km stretch of Padubidri and close NITK toll booth before opening this toll plaza. If you have bad situations on either side of the toll plaza then who will find happiness in paying extra?
