Kundapur, Aug 24: “The state government is quiet even after insulting talk by Amnesty International. The government which should take tough action against anti-Indians has taken a neutral stance. Instead of watching, suitable action is required against such elements,” said district BJP vice-president Bykadi Suprasad Shetty.
Speaking to protesters, he said, “All need to protest against insults to Indian soldiers. It is a matter concerning all the natives of the country. Individuals or organizations which try to spoil the unity and integrity of the nation need to be severely punished.”
Kundapur block BJP president Suresh Shetty Kadooru lamented that the state government has stood for the protection of international organization which shouted insulting slogans against the soldiers who are protecting the borders disregarding their lives.
“Intense protests will be held if the government does not take suitable action and continue supporting traitors,” he said.
State fishermen's association convener B Kishore Kumar, backward class Morcha president Rajesh Kaveri, BJP block Chief secretary Shanker Ankadakatte, Bhaskar Billava, Sandhya Ramesh, Youth Morcha president Sathish Poojary, Pradeep, Fishermen association district convener Sadananda Balkooru, Sathish Shetty, Vijaya S Poojary, Women's Morcha president Janaki Billava and office bearers of different Morchas were present.
