Kasargod, Aug 14: Maveli Express train bound for Thiruvananthapuram, which left Mangaluru on Friday August 13 evening was passing on Karyangodu Bridge near Nileshwar when fire was noticed in its engine.

The driver of the train stopped the train immediately and asked passengers to disembark.

Cause for this fire is yet to be ascertained.
