Mangaluru, Aug 13: 92.7 BIG FM, South Canara's most heard about FM station organized the finals of Benedryl Big Golden Voice – Season 4, the city's regional round on Friday August 12.
Amulya Mallikarjun won the finals of the regional round and has been nominated to enter into the next round to be held at Mumbai.
Big Golden Voice is a unique format of On Air singing reality show introduced by BIG FM, which has been conducted in all the 45 stations in India.
This time the listeners had to register through Interactive Voice Response (IVR). In the city, the participants had to register by singing a Tulu song. There was tremendous response from the listeners as the importance was given to the regional languages such as Tulu language songs.
Vinod Kumar, Deepti Bhatkal, Ashyish, Sachin K and Divya Ramachandra were chosen for the Mangaluru city finale.
Nithin Acharya, Voice of Bangalore Season - 5 winner, music director and singer and Shashiraj Kavoor were the judges. Shruthi Kotian, 'Ramba Rooti’ movie fame actress and model presented the trophy to the winners.
The top 10 city winners from across the nation will be called to Mumbai for the next round. The winner of Benedryl BIG Golden voice will get a chance to work with composer-vocalist Amaan Mallik-Arman Mallik
