Puttur: ‘Philodarshana’ held at PG Centre of St Philomena College

Puttur, Jul 24: To provide information and guidance to the students who seek admission for the Post Graduate studies in St Philomena College Puttur, ‘Philodarshana 2016’ was organized on July 22 in PG conference hall.

The Chairperson of Centre for PG studies and Research of the College Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro in his presidential address said, “Today, most of the educational institutions adopt various methods of advertisements to attract the students. But, it is the duty of every student to get first hand information about the facilities available, before taking admission in an institution.”

He added: “At present the college offers MSW, M Com, M Sc (Physics), M Sc (Mathematics), M Sc (Computer Science), MA (Economics) and MA (Hindi). All the PG programmes have registered an excellent academic record during the past years.”

The Coordinator of PG studies in Social Work Prof Prasanna Kumar presented details about the facilities available in PG Centre.

The Coordinator of PG studies in Physics Dr. Emmanuel Deepak D’Silva, Coordinator of PG studies in Commerce Prof Divyashree K and   Coordinator of PG studies in Computer Science Prof. Govinda Prakash were present on this occasion.

Roopashree and team performed the prayer. The Coordinator of PG studies in Economics Prof Dinakara Rao welcomed the gathering. The Coordinator of ‘Philodarshana 2016’ Prof. Pradeep K S proposed the vote of thanks. Prof Nishal Pramila Serrao compered the programme.
