Udupi: Pedestrian gets hit by tempo - dies of injuries

Udupi, Jul 16: In an accident which happened near Ganesh Service Station at Kothalkatte near Kaup on the night of Thursday July 14, a pedestrian lost his life.

Sundar from Kothalkatte lost his life in this accident. It is learnt that he was walking towards his home by the roadside from the direction of Kaup when a Tata Ace goods tempo knocked him down fro backside.

Sundar suffered serious injuries in the incident. He was admitted into a private hospital in the town thereafter. However, doctors could not save him. A case about the accident was registered in Kaup police station in this connection.
