Mumbai, Sep 22: Tamasha has presently taken up the top spot of being a much awaited film as many are eager to see Ranbir and Deepika recreate the magic that they had brought to life in their earlier movies. The couple that had been dating and have since broken it off, seem to be doing a great job of portraying love stories with elan, on screen and their on-screen pairing is quite popular.

The trailer of the movie however does echo the question in the minds of the populace - Why the same story again? Boy meets Girl - they fall in love and then heartbreak follows. In Tamasha - Ranbir is playing the role of a staid -decent guy who has made his on the oft travelled route of - studies, college and parroting 'yes boss'. Then, one fine day he travels to the far off island of Corsica where he meets a carefree girl who introduces herself as Mona Darling while he tells her his name is Dev. The two make a pact to enjoy their holiday together while never telling each other any true fact about themselves. They also decide never to meet again in life and all that happens during their holiday in Corsica - will never be talked about either.

Life, and Bollywood movies, rarely go the proposed way and so, the two end up meeting up much later, only to realise that they had in fact believed the lies that they had lived in Corsica and are not prepared to accept the true reality of each - other. The trailer that ends on Ranbir telling Deepika in no uncertain terms that the boy she met and fell in love with in Corsica is someone completely different from him.

Whether the movie will actually live up to the expectations of the public and will this much loved onscreen couple once more enrapture the audiences with their reel-life love - only time will tell. The trailer which has already gotten many hits is worth a watch and hopefully so is the movie that releases on the 27th of November.
