Bengaluru, Feb 5: The State Government has re-constituted the Karnataka State Appellate Authority for Forest, Environment and Ecology Department with the following Members with immediate effect.
Justice Ajit J Gunjal, former Judge of High Court of Karnataka, will be the new Chairman and M V Sheshan its member.
Justice Ajit J Gunjal will hold the office as Chairman of Karnataka State Appellate Authority till he attains the age of 70 years or 3 years from assuming the charge, whichever is earlier.
M V Sheshan will continue as Member, Karnataka State Appellate Authority till he attains the age of 65 years or 3 years from assuming the charge, whichever is earlier.
Justice H G Ramesh transferred to Allahabad HC, Justice Vineeth Saran posted to Karnataka HC
Meanwhile, Justice Huluvadi Gangadarappa Ramesh of Karnataka has been transferred by the President of India Pranab Mukherjee as a judge of Allahabad High Court.
In another order, the President has transferred Justice Vineeth Saran of Allahabad High Court as judge of the Karnataka High Court.
The Presidential order of transfer of the judges, according to an official press release from the Press Information Bureau (PIB), directs both the judges to take the posting on or before February 18.
