Khadar’s cricketing genius- hits nine sixes in three overs

Sullia, Dec 29: Health and family welfare minister, U T Khadar is considered as one of the efficient politicians of the present era. But very few people know that he is also a good cricketer. He proved it last night on Sunday, December 28 at Bellare near Sullia where he played cricket and hit nine sixes in three overs.

Khadar arrived at 2. 30 am at the venue where a cricket tournament had to take place. He was honoured by the organizers. But nobody expected him to play cricket in front of the crowd. Khadar volunteered to hold the bat in hand.

And he did not take time to attack the bowling. Out of the 19 balls, he faced, he had sent 12 balls to the boundary line. In an unbelievable inning, he hit nine sixes and three fours.

The chief guest Rashid Vittal too got the opportunity to bowl to the minister. Businessman Rashid Bellare pledged Rs 100 for every sixer hit. Khadar showed his brilliance in batting till he was dismissed.

Khadar who had come past midnight to Bellare after a hectic day, had a good time with participants. He looked like enjoying his game in a relaxed mood. But when contacted on Monday Dec 29 about his whereabouts, it was learnt that he had already reached Mumbai.
