Mangalore, Sep 17: A one-day programme on 'Higher education - role of government, university and colleges in quality enhancement' was organised by the Association of First Grade College Principals of Mangalore University at SDM Law College here on Saturday September 16.
The programme was inaugurated by minister for higher education D H Shankaramurthy. Speaking on the occasion, he stressed on the need for incorporating technology in the field of education.
Among those present were Mangalore University vice-chancellor K M Kaveriappa, department of collegiate education regional joint director Dr W Linda Christy, MLC Capt Ganesh Karnik and Principals' Association president Bhaskar Shetty.
