Sullia: Police raid chicken centre, seize illegal liquor stock

Sullia, Nov 25: Police raided a chicken centre in Arantodu on Saturday night and seized illegally stocked liquor from the premises.

Based on a tip-off, Sullia town police conducted a raid at the chicken centre on Adkabale Road in Arantodu. Upon investigation, they questioned Dinesh Guthigaru and discovered 3.960 litres of liquor sachets concealed in an old plastic bag. Dinesh admitted to purchasing the liquor from a wine shop in Sullia with the intent to sell it at a higher price.

A case has been registered against both the owner of the wine shop and the accused, Dinesh.
