Bangalore, June 20: Three Kannada films were released today. Although only 10% of the films find success in the industry every year, there are 140 to 150 movies made every year. The producers of Kannada films are not at all dejected and keep on producing films.
The first big release of the week was Ravichandran starer 'Drishya.' The movie is directed by P Vasu and is produced by Mukesh Mehta. It is the remake of Malyalam film 'Drishyam.' The movie is expected to do the best among the three new releases since Ravichandran is the hero. Ravichandran is basking on the success of his last film 'Maanikya.'
The second movie of the week is 'Typical Kailash.' The movie stars Srujan Lokesh, who is extremely popular on small screen. The comedy movie is directed by B N Mallikarjuna and is produced by Devraj. The opening is expected to be low, but if the content is good, the collections may come up.
The last release of the week is Late. Rajesh'd 'Love is Poison.' The film is directed by Nandan Prabhu and there is no curiosity for the movie at all. The movie is known for Poonam Pandey's item number and for the death of the lead actor Rajesh. The movie is expected to receive a low opening.
