Mangaluru Dec 28: Expert PU College will celebrate its 39th Expert Day on December 29 at its Valachil campus.
The formal programme will be graced by Dr Ponnuraj IAS, senior advisor to the executive director, Asian Development Bank, Manila, as the chief guest. Dr Yenepoya Abdulla Kunhi, chancellor of Yenepoya Deemed to be University, will be the guest of honor.
Prof Narendra L Nayak, chairman of Expert PU College, briefed the media about the event, stating, "The 39th Expert Day will be a momentous occasion for our institution. The day will be marked by a formal programme followed by a variety of entertainment programmes. We are honored to have Dr Ponnuraj and Dr Yenepoya Abdulla Kunhi join us on this special day."
The Expert Day celebrations are a significant event in the college's calendar, bringing together students, faculty, and distinguished guests to commemorate the founding of the institution.
Prof Narendra L Nayak also announced that the Time Square Music Festival 2024 will be held on December 30 at 5:30 pm, featuring a mind-blowing fusion music performance by 'Shiva' with internationally renowned artists. The programme will be inaugurated by Dr Vidyabhushana, renowned Carnatic singer and doyen of Dasa Sahitya.
