Mangalore, Jun 13: The Mangalore South cops raided a gabling den at Bunder on Jun 11. The police team led by H N Venkatesh Prasanna raided the Western Hotel at Bamboo Bazaar in the Bunder area based on credible information.
At the time of the raid the police found 11 persons in room No 221 of the Hotel playing ‘Andar- Bahar’ with cards. Accordingly the police seized cash Rs 1940 and also arresting the 11 persons.
A case has been registered at the Mangalore South Police Station under section 78 of the Karnataka Police Act against all the 11 accused and the hotel manager.
The accused have been released on bail.
