Chennai, March 24 (IANS): Comedian Brahmanandam, who has starred with actor Allu Arjun in almost all his films since his debut, says the latter has improved as an artist over the years. The duo has now come together for upcoming Telugu actioner "Race Gurram".
"I have worked with him since his debut. I consider him talented not because he's from megastar Chiranjeevi's family, but because I have seen him improve as an actor from film to film. Not many actors have grown constantly in their respective careers," Brahmanandam told IANS.
Arjun is Chiranjeevi's nephew. He has starred in films such as "Gangotri", "Desamuduru" and "Julayi".
In "Race Gurram", Arjun and Brahmanadam play partners in a police department.
"I play his assistant in the film and scenes between us are a laugh riot. I'm extremely happy with the character because it's something I haven't played in a long time. I'm sure audiences are going to love watching us together on screen," he added.
Directed by Surendar Reddy, "Race Gurram" is slated for a summer release. It also features Shruti Haasan, Saloni Aswani, Ravi Kishan and Prakash Raj.
