Mangalore, Jun 7: City-based Malini Keshava Prasad has bagged the Kuvempu Prashasti, an award constituted by the Karnataka Sangha in Shimoga. Malini will be given the award for her outstanding performance in Kannada MA exams conducted by Kuvempu University in 04-45.

Malini passed her post graduation in Kannada from Kuvempu University in the year 2004-05 with three gold medals. The award distribution ceremony will be held on June 13 at Karnataka Sangha hall in Shimoga. Kuvempu University vice-chancellor Prof B S Sherigar will be the chief guest.

Malini was also awarded the Upasana Award 05 at Bangalore.

She is the wife of Keshav Prasad, working for Karnataka Bank, head office Mangalore.
