Karkala: Leopard falls into well near Ermanjapalla, rescue operation underway

Karkala, Nov 24: A leopard fell into a well near Ermanjapalla in Nitte village on Saturday night.

The leopard, which had come in search of food, accidentally slipped and fell into the well. It is currently crouched on the inner ledge of the well.

Officials and staff from the forest department have arrived at the scene and are working on rescuing the leopard safely. A net has been placed over the well, and a large ladder has been lowered to facilitate the operation.

Upon learning about the incident, locals have gathered at the site.
