Kasargod, Nov 24: A youth who fell into a well on Friday night and spent the entire night there was rescued by fire service personnel on Saturday morning.

The incident occurred at a well belonging to Nandakishore, located near Mulinja School in Uppala.

Bharath, 24, a native of Hubballi, was identified as the youth who fell into the well. It is suspected that he was inebriated at the time.

The house's residents heard Bharath's screams on Saturday morning. Despite lowering a rope into the well, Bharath was unable to climb out. The fire service personnel were then called to the scene, and they successfully rescued him.
