Udupi, Jun 5: Two boys who had gone for a swim at Koje Honda near Tekkatte, Brahmavar died on Sunday June 4.
A group of children had gone for swimming on Sunday. The deceased were Shravan Shetty (10), a resident of Malyady and Kishan Shetty (14), a resident of Tekkatte.
It has been reported that when the boys were drowning, the others shouted for help which alerted a worker in the neighbouring field. Although he rushed to their rescue, he was unable to save the boys.
