Dharmesh back on 'Boogie Woogie'


Mumbai, Jan 29 (IANS): Dancer-actor Dharmesh Yelande, popularly known as Dharmesh sir, will make a special appearance in an upcoming episode of dance reality show "Boogie Woogie".

"'Boogie Woogie' is the only platform where real dancers emerge. I am proud to have been a part of this iconic show," Dharmesh, who also won "Boogie Woogie Mahayudh" in 2008, said in a statement.

For the episode, the contestants will perform to woo the judges in just 90 seconds. They will perform on songs like "Manmohini teri ada", "Ek do teen", "Shakalaka baby" and many more.

The episode will air Saturday on Sony Entertainment Television.

Nigaar to enter 'Taarak Mehta Ka...'

After quitting mythological show "Buddha", actress Nigaar Z. Khan will now do a cameo in popular TV sitcom "Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah"

She has already started shooting for the role.

"It's been one month that I quit 'Buddha' and it's already time for new beginnings. Shooting cameo for 'Tarak Mehta Ka Ulta Chashma'," Nigaar posted on microblogging website Twitter Wednesday.

The actress has been part of shows like "Lipstick" and "Hongey Judaa Na Hum". She has also appeared in reality shows like "The Khan Sisters", "Sacch Ka Saamna" and "Welcome - Baazi Mehmaan-Nawaazi Ki".

Nandini to fight against female infanticide

Nandini, the female lead protagonist of "Desh Ki Beti Nandini", will fight against female infanticide in the TV show and will save a girl child from dying.

Actress Kirti Nagpure, who plays the title role in the Sony Entertainment Television show, has become the president of the political party in the show. Her character will evolve as a strong and responsible politician and everyone soon becomes fond of her.

In an upcoming episode, the issue of female infanticide comes to Nandini's notice and the target is one of the party workers of the woman wing. She immediately acts on the issue and stops the illegal act of aborting a girl child.
