Mangalore, Nov 25: Pradeep Kumar Acharya and Vincent Prakash Carlo, representing Karnataka, won the gold medal in the South Indian Bench Press Powerlifting Championship held at Calicut, Kerala, recently.

Acharya participated in the 66 kg senior category and Carlo in the 74 kg senior category. Sathish Kudroli provided guidance and support for practice in Balanjaneya Gymnasium and Carlos Gym Coconut Garden.
