Mangalore, May 13: A warm reception was given to the newly elected legislative assembly member J R Lobo in St Alphonsa Church, Kankanady, here, on Sunday May 12 at 6.30 pm.

Trustee member P Joseph welcomed.

Parish priest Fr Sebastian Chelackappally honoured J R Lobo on behalf of parish community. “It is a great victory of democratic aspirations of the people .His clean image and principles were the backbone of this achievement.”

J R Lobo promised to give good administration and to fulfill the basic needs of the people.

All the parishioners were present in the parish auditorium along with assistant vicar Fr Binoy Maliyakal.
