Mangalore: City Centre Mall celebrates third anniversary

Mangalore, Apr 25: The city's largest mall City Centre celebrated its third anniversary with a colourful ceremony at the Mall here on Thursday April 25.
Speaking after inaugurating the programme, Yenepoya Abdulla Kunhi, chancellor of Yenepoya University, said that Mohtisham group has been successful in providing the second largest and one of the most unique malls in Karnataka.
"People come here to spend their leisure hours and get entertained. I really appreciate Mohtisham for providing such a sophisticated, high standard Mall to Mangaloreans," he said.
"Today this Mall is celebrating its third anniversary which really appreciable," he added.
Gautham Pai, executive director of Manipal Media Network Limited said City Centre Mall is one of the most successful malls in Karnataka. "City Center Mall is really a great contribution by Mohtisham group to Mangalore. It is part of the city's infrastructure, and provides good entertainment to the people who come here. Arshad, director of Mohtisham Group has truly succeeded with this venture. I wish that more great works come from his side," he said.
Sudhir Ghate, chairman of Magnum Intergrafiks Private Limited said, "So many people visit this City Center Mall and go back with smiling faces. Mohtisham is among the groups that have beautified Mangalore city. I am happy to note that the Mall is so abuzz with activity. This landmark by Mohtisham has a place of pride in the city," he said.
Arshad, director of Mohtisham Group said it was not an easy journey in the beginning. "The contribution of management and staff has made this Mall a perfect destination for people who come to the city. City Center offers various services like customers desk, baby care and prayer hall. As part of our corporate social responsibility City Center has also organized blood donation, eye donation and health checkup programmes.
Several visitors and customers witnessed the programme.
The programme commenced with a dazzling 'Chende' dance.
