Mangaluru, Jan 22: The Press Club Guest of Honour Award was conferred on Krishna J Palemar, chairman and CEO of Land Links and Vikas Education Trust, at a ceremony held at the Press Club on Wednesday, January 22.

The event was inaugurated by Kadri Navneeth Shetty, CEO of Namma Kudla Channel, who presided over the Press Club Guest of Honor Award ceremony.

In his address, Krishna J Palemar encouraged youngsters to embrace challenges, emphasizing that the current generation often lacks awareness of the difficulties that shape success. Palemar also expressed his gratitude towards LC D’Souza, whom he described as the guiding figure behind his successful entry into the real estate sector. Reflecting on his tenure as an MLA and Minister, Palemar added, "I am also satisfied with the work I have done for the public."

The event was attended by several notable figures, including Srinivas Nayak Indaje, president of the District Working Journalists Union; P B Harish Rai, president of the Mangaluru Press Club; Ramakrishna R, president of the Patrika Bhavan Trust; Ibrahim Adkastala, general secretary; and Wilfred D’Souza, programme convenor, among others.
