Mangalore: Murder of transport firm manager - Two more accused arrested

Mangalore, Apr 16: Relating to the recent killing of Adinatheshwara Roadlines manager, Prashanth (35) on the night of Sunday April 7 by assailants near a bar at Valencia in the city, the Pandeshwar police have succeeded in making two more arrests.

The newly arrested accused are Prasad (24) from Jeppinamogeru, and Guruprasad (25) from Arkula.
With these arrests, the total number of people taken into custody has risen to six, as four were arrested by the police earlier.
The police said that the current arrests were made on the basis of information provided by those arrested earlier, during their interrogation.
Prashanth alias Pachu was murdered by a gang of 7-8 persons late on April 7 night. The police later confirmed that his killing was a revenge for the murder of criminal Bejai Raja in December 2012.
