Mangalore: Zilla Adidravidar Samaj Seva Sangha Awards Ceremony on May 27

Mangalore, May 19: “In order to mark the birthday of Dr B R Ambdekar, Zilla Adi Dravidar Samaj Seva Sangha will organize talent recognition, help for the underprivileged, and facilitation awards distribution ceremony on Sunday May 27 at Town Hall, Mangalore,” informed Krishna Sooterpete, district president, Adi Dravidar Social Service organization, during the press meet.

As a part of social responsibility, the organization in its sixth successive year has decided to recognize the achievement of different people. The recognition of talented students of the community and those who are pursuing their higher education will be a part of the event.

In order to raise funds for the financial support of the poor students, ‘Katildhappe Ullaldhi’ contemporary Tulu drama of ‘Lakumi’ troupe will be performed after the stage programme at 3 pm.  VIP ticket price: Rs 500 and general ticket price: Rs 100.

N Yogish Bhat, deputy speaker of legislative assembly, will be the chief guest at the programme. K Abhaychandra Jain, Gulzar Banu, K T Shailaj Bhat, U T Khader, Arun Furtado, and K C Naik will be present on the dais.
