Mangalore, Mar 29: Dr M V Shetty College of Medical Laboratory Technology organized ‘Eureka-12’, a path towards excellence, an annual CME on ‘Modern Approaches Towards Laboratory Science’ on Thursday March 29. The programme was inaugurated by Dr Krishna Prasad, professor, department of microbiology, principal, Nitte College of MLT, KSHEMA, here.
Dr Ranjith Shetty, trustee, Dr M V Shetty Memorial Trust presided over the function.
Dr Asha Pai K B from KSHEMA, Mangalore, Dr Jayaprakash C S from Father Muller’s Medical College, Mangalore and Dr Anupama Hegde, KMC, Mangalore were the resource persons for the CME. The guest speakers highlighted on the various aspects of laboratory sciences which could be brought into practice by laboratory technologists to improve their skills and contribute for the well being of the patients and the society. Around 250 students and staff delegates from various colleges in the state participated in the CME and gained immense knowledge from the sessions.
Pratijna Suhasini G R, principal, Dr M V Shetty College of Medical Laboratory Technology delivered the welcome speech.
Seema, lecturer, department of biochemistry proposed the vote of thanks.
