Mangaluru, Apr 16: The Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy's is all set to hold ‘Manka Mothiya’ — a three-day cultural extravaganza from April 21 to 23. The event will be held at the Infant Jesus Church Hall in Bajjodi, Mangaluru.
Organised under the guidance of the academy's chairperson, Joachim Stany Alvares, the celebration aims to showcase the richness of Konkani language, art, and heritage. The event will feature various cultural performances such as dance, drama, music, Konkani storytelling, and speeches.


The inaugural ceremony will take place at 9 am on April 21. Mandd Sobhann president Loius J Pinto will inaugurate the event while Infant Jesus Church parish priest Fr Dominic Vas will preside as the chief guest.
On April 23, the valedictory programme will be held. Mangalore diocese PRO Roy Castelino will inaugurate the programme while Infant Jesus Shrine rector Fr Melwin D’Cunha and Infant Jesus Church parish priest Fr Dominic Vas will preside as the chief guests.
