Mumbai, Apr 8: The much-awaited trailer of Ajay Devgn-starrer Raid 2 was unveiled on Tuesday, promising a gripping saga of power, politics, and justice.

A sequel to the 2018 blockbuster Raid, the film raises the stakes as Ajay Devgn reprises his iconic role as upright Income Tax officer Amay Patnaik. This time, he faces off against his most formidable adversary yet Dadabhai, portrayed by Riteish Deshmukh in a dark, politically charged avatar.

The trailer offers glimpses of a tense cat-and-mouse chase between the two powerhouses. Ajay’s commanding presence is matched by Riteish’s chilling performance as a ruthless and charismatic politician, setting the tone for an electrifying showdown.

The story revolves around Amay Patnaik’s landmark 75th raid, targeting Dadabhai and his massive empire, setting up a clash loaded with ego, power play, and suspense.

Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, Raid 2 continues the theme of high-stakes income tax operations, inspired by real-life cases involving white-collar crime and covert intelligence missions. The film has been shot across Mumbai, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Delhi in early 2024.

Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, and Krishan Kumar, the film is presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series, in association with Panorama Studios.

Raid 2 is slated for a theatrical release on May 1, promising yet another edge-of-the-seat experience for action drama lovers.
