Media Release

Mangaluru, Apr 7: Young author Reshel Bretny Fernandes has published her latest book, Environment: Bond of Coexistence, brought out by Tanisha Publications, New Delhi. The book focuses on the environment's crucial role in ensuring the coexistence of all living beings.

The book emphasizes the need for humans to extend their responsibility towards protecting the Earth, especially in times when maintaining a bond with nature has become a pressing concern.

Reshel conveys that while the environment is essential for life, its destruction could lead to serious consequences in the future. She stresses that now is the time to adopt eco-friendly practices that foster sustainability.

As a young thinker, Reshel provides insights aimed at encouraging the younger generation to think wisely. She notes that many major problems can be traced back to an unhealthy environment that adversely affects lives. She adds that our bond with nature symbolizes harmony and positive growth, and that even small actions can lead to significant change over time. “Without the environment, coexistence is impossible; it is our responsibility to build a bond of coexistence,” she affirms.

The foreword for the book is penned by Dr Hemanth, principal of Dayananda Sagar Institute of Dental Sciences and trustee of Disha Bharat, Bengaluru. In his note, Dr Hemanth highlights the need for youth to reflect on environmental issues and congratulates Reshel on her effort.

Currently pursuing an LLB at SDM Law College, Mangaluru, Reshel has already published four books on significant topics at the age of 22. She has received accolades at international, national, and other levels in the literary field, and was recently honoured with the prestigious Kittur Rani Chennamma Award by the Government of Karnataka, along with several other prestigious recognitions.
