Abu Dhabi, Apr 7: The iconic BAPS Hindu Temple in Abu Dhabi witnessed vibrant and devotional celebrations on the occasion of Ram Navami and Swaminarayan Jayanti, drawing large gatherings of devotees from across the region.

In a statement issued by the temple authorities, it was mentioned that the celebrations began early in the day with soulful Ram Bhajans, followed by the grand Shri Ram Janmotsav Aarti at noon. The temple was filled with chants of devotion as people united in prayer and celebration.

Pujya Brahmavihari Swami, head priest of the temple, said that the event served as a beacon of peace, unity, and eternal Hindu values, transcending borders and cultures. “The celebrations witnessed a massive turnout of devotees and visitors, united in devotion to Lord Ram and Bhagwan Swaminarayan,” he shared.

A major highlight of the day was a cultural performance by young BAPS artists, held on a specially crafted stage designed to depict the holy confluence of the rivers Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati. The presentation brought alive the divine life of Lord Ram through music, drama, and storytelling, captivating the audience.

The BAPS Hindu Temple, which has already become a landmark of spiritual and cultural significance in the UAE, continues to stand tall as a symbol of global Hindu pride and interfaith harmony.
