Mangaluru, Feb 23: The inauguration ceremony of the solar power installation which is a part of Milagres Green Energy Initiative, was held at Milagres College, on February 21.
Sathish Kunder, chief guest of the programme said, "The youth must take interest in green initiatives and move towards sustainable living."
The chief guest Sathish Kunder, BTech - Electrical along with guests of honour Alwyn Rosario, BTech - Electrical and Dinesh Rao, proprietor, CAD solar systems, Balmatta were honoured on this occasion.
Dr Michael L Santhumayor, principal welcomed the gathering. Fr Bonaventure Nazareth, correspondent, Milagres Educational Institutions proposed the words of gratitude. Fr Joseph Uday Fernandes, principal, Milagres Central School, Melwin Vaz, principal, Milagres PU and Victoria Dalmeida, vice principal, Milagres College of Nursing were the dignitaries.
