Mangaluru: Blood Donation Camp 2025 held at Mangala College

Mangaluru, Feb 18: Under guidance of Dr Ganapathi P, chairman and Dr Anitha G Bhat vice chairman, Youth Red Cross Society unit of Mangala College of Allied Health Sciences organized blood donation camp at Mangala College campus on February 14 in association with NSS unit and regional Blood Transfusion Centre Government Wenlock District Hospital, Mangaluru, D K.

Dr Sharath Kumar Rao J, HOD and senior consultant of Blood Transfusion Centre Government Wenlock District Hospital, Mangaluru, DK motivated and delivered significance of blood donation. Anil Kumar, PRO of Mangala Group of Educational Institutions was the first donor for inaugural ceremony.

Dean Prof Pratijna Suhasini G R of Mangala Group of Educational Institutions, Prof Geethalaxmi IP, vice principal of Mangala College Of Allied Health And Paramedical Sciences, Prof Subramanaya Nayak, principal of Nursing college, YRC unit officer Vijetha Sheena and Sharanya S Amin, NSS Unit officer Mithun Venugopal A, Antony D’Souza and Ashok Naik, senior technical officers of Regional Blood Transfusion Centre Govt Wenlock District Hospital, Mangaluru, and faculty of Mangala Group of Educational Institutions and student volunteers graced the occasion. Pratiksha V II BSc MLT performed master of ceremony.
