Mangaluru, Feb 6: The retro fiesta 'NOSTOLGIA', a vibrant and memorable event, was held on January 30 for the BBA IMC students. The programme began with a formal function and was graced by several esteemed guests. Dr Venkatesh S Amin, dean of IMC, delivered an insightful address, followed by Prof Shilpa K, HOD of the department of BBA, who shared encouraging words with the students.

Prof Shweta NS, course coordinator of BBA, also extended her support, emphasizing the importance of creativity and collaboration in student events. Additionally, Prof Usha and Prof Deepak, the cultural coordinators, were instrumental in organizing the event, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all attendees.

Following the formal session, the event transitioned into an informal function where various competitions were held to showcase the talents of the students. These included exciting events such as dance, singing, and a fashion walk, all of which were met with much enthusiasm and participation.

The competition was judged by a distinguished panel of faculty members including Prof Mithun Raj, Prof Sharmila S Shetty, Prof Sushmita, Prof Prajna, Roopa and Mahesh.

Each judge brought their unique perspective to the evaluation, ensuring a fair and comprehensive judgment process. The students' performances were nothing short of spectacular, with high energy and creativity being showcased across all categories.

The retro fiesta Nostalgia served as an excellent platform for the BBA IMC students to come together, celebrate their talents, and relive nostalgic moments from the past, all while strengthening their bonds within the university community.

The event concluded on a high note, with students and faculty members appreciating the efforts put forth by the organizers and participants alike.
