Mangaluru: St Agnes College organises skill development programme

Mangaluru, Feb 3: The department of business administration, St Agnes College, conducted a skill development programme titled ‘Etiquette edge: Advancing your corporate skillset’ at Avila Hall on January 23.

The programme aimed to provide students with practical guidance on developing key skills required for success in the corporate world and building a suitable resume for their dream job. The session was presented by Preetham Kamath, a facilitator, behavioural trainer, and counsellor, who is an experienced professional in leadership development. She focused on practical ways to improve personal and professional skills in a fast-paced, ever-evolving business environment.

The resource person of the workshop, Preetham Kamath, effectively exhibited her knowledge and experience, while also maintaining a strong desire to impart valuable expertise to students at a beginner level. She communicated her goal of fostering self-discovery, idea development, and actionable insights among her participants and divided her audience into groups based on their career interests and ensured that each group received focused attention to address their specific needs. Her 20 years of professional experience were evident as she navigated the topics with clarity and ease. In her closing remarks, she expressed her optimism for the emotional, personal, and professional growth of the students.

The session featured a variety of activities, each designed with a specific purpose. It began appropriately with the invocation of God’s blessings through a divine hymn sung by Sophia, while the session was compered by Renisha. The vote of thanks was proposed by Yasmin.
