Mangaluru: St Aloysius Gonzaga School wins CBSE national-level swimming and skating medals

Mangaluru, Nov 15: St. Aloysius Gonzaga School has once again brought pride to the city with two remarkable achievements at the recent CBSE national-level competitions.

Avaneesh Nayak Sujir, a talented swimmer from Class V C, earned a bronze medal in the 200m individual medley at the CBSE National Swimming Championship held in Odisha from October 11 to 14, 2024. Avaneesh’s remarkable performance at the prestigious event highlights his dedication to the sport and his impressive skill in the water.

Meanwhile, Yuvaraj D Kunder, a Class VII B student, triumphed at the CBSE National Skating Championship held in Belagavi from October 24 to 27, 2024. Yuvaraj won the gold medal in the highly competitive One Lap Road Race event, showcasing his speed and precision on wheels.

Both students' achievements have garnered widespread praise from the school community. The Principal and staff of St Aloysius Gonzaga School congratulated Avaneesh and Yuvaraj for their outstanding performances, applauding their hard work and sportsmanship.
