Beltangady: Anugraha School organizes guest talk on 'Behavioral biology of butterflies'

Beltangady, Nov 8: Anugraha English Medium School in Ujire hosted an insightful programme titled 'Behavioural Biology of Butterflies' on November 6 in their high school hall featuring Dr Deepak Naik, a distinguished guest faculty from the department of applied zoology at Mangalore University, as the keynote speaker.

Fr Vijay Lobo, the principal of Anugraha English Medium School, presided over the function. Also present as a dignitary was Tirumalesh Rao N K, a faculty member from SDM College of Education in Ujire. Fr Vijay Lobo shared insightful messages with the audience, emphasizing the importance of understanding the biological behaviors of butterflies and their role in the ecosystem. Dr Deepak Naik provided valuable knowledge on the behavioral patterns of butterflies, enriching the participants' understanding of zoology and fostering an appreciation for wildlife conservation.

The master of ceremony (MC) for the event was Sushmitha who effectively managed the flow of the programme. Jisna extended a warm welcome to the gathering, while Akhila introduced the guest speaker, Dr Deepak Naik, and highlighted his contributions to the field of zoology. The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Vinith, who expressed gratitude to all those involved in making the event successful.
