Sullia: Accused escapes from hospital, arrested by police

Sullia, Oct 27: Sullia police have apprehended an accused who escaped from a hospital where he was taken for a routine medical check-up.

The accused, Raghavan Kedishwaran alias Koli Karan, was wanted in a theft case and had been evading court appearances.

He was recently apprehended by police in Sathyamangalam, Tamil Nadu, and brought to Sullia hospital for a mandatory medical check-up.

During this visit, he managed to escape from the officers accompanying him but has since been rearrested.
