Beltangady: Holy Redeemer English Medium School celebrates Teachers' Day

Beltangady, Sep 6: Holy Redeemer English Medium School celebrated Teachers' Day on Thursday, September 5 in the school auditorium. Love, respect and gratitude is the best gift a teacher can ever receive, and it was rightfully proved in the Teacher's Day celebration.

Celebration began by welcoming the teachers grandly, along with the correspondent Fr Walter D'Mello, headmaster Fr Clifford Pinto, parish pastoral council vice president Walter Monis and secretary Gilbert Pinto, and PTA vice president Ramesh.

Prayer song solemnly invited God's presence. Student Manvitha whole heartedly welcomed everyone. Floral tribute to the portrait of Dr Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan was paid to embark his influence. On behalf of all students Viona D'Souza outpoured her views and thoughts about teachers. Added on to it, students sang a wishing song highlighting the role of teachers.

A few lucky games were conducted and entertainment involved wonderful dances and skit. Winners of lucky games were given prizes. Correspondent in his message encouraged the teachers to be role models and headmaster appreciated the dedication and commitment rendering by the teachers.

Correspondent and headmaster presented gift to all teaching and non-teaching staff on behalf of the school. Student Adithya proposed the vote of thanks and Janice Bennis compered the programme. Celebration concluded by singing the school anthem. Entire programme was planned and well executed by Class 10 students under the guidance of class teacher Blendin Rodrigues.

Sweets were distributed to all students and the celebration came to an end making the teachers feel special and elevated.
