Mangaluru, Aug 15: The department of BBA and department of journalism and mass communication, organized the Traditional Day – ‘VIVIDHA’ exhibition of diversity on August 13 in the college auditorium. The event commenced with an inaugural programme where the dean addressed the gathering, highlighting the importance of cultural diversity and the rich heritage of India.
The highlight of the day was the inter-class competition, where students creatively represented different states assigned to them. Through dance, song, and fashion shows, the students showcased the diverse cultures of the states, reflecting their creativity and talent.
The competition was judged by Prof Sharmila Shetty and Prof Yashaswi A Ail. The event concluded with the announcement of the winners, who were awarded for their outstanding performances, making the event a memorable celebration of India's cultural richness.
The programme was held under the guidance of Dr Venkatesh Amin, dean of Institute of management and commerce, Prof Shilpa K HOD of BBA department, Prof Sushmitha HOD of journalism and mass communication, Prof Shwetha N S course coordinator of BBA department, Prof Prathijna & Prof Archana S, cultural co-ordinators. The programme was a grand success with the collaborative efforts of all faculty members, whose support was instrumental in making the event a memorable one.
