Mangaluru, Jul 24: The Pick and Act competition was held on July 23, for the students of Grade 1 and 2 at St Theresa's School, Bendur, Mangaluru. The event aimed to foster creativity, confidence, and non-verbal communication skills among the young students. Each participant picked a topic from the list and had a few minutes to think before performing. No objects were allowed.
The students performed on the given topics, and their performances were delightful and filled with creativity. They showcased their ability to convey actions and emotions without words, using only gestures and expressions.
Highlights included a student pretending to be a firefighter and another acting out the excitement of blowing bubbles. Additionally, a few students demonstrated the fun of playing hide and seek and the joy of jumping in puddles.
The Pick and Act competition was a great success, providing a platform for students to express themselves and have fun. The enthusiasm and creativity displayed by the participants were commendable. The competition concluded with a round of applause and appreciation for all the young students.
