Udupi, Jul 16: Parents teachers meeting held at Glowinstar Integrated School, Ambalpady.
Basuma Kodagu, theatre and film director, chief guest, emphasized the profound significance of parental relationship with children, said, “Parent’s relationship with children is very precious and important. Reading is crucial for a child’s development. Fostering positive thinking through extracurricular activities alongside academic’s shapes children into better citizens. Treating children merely as an end product devoid of human emotions is detrimental. Education and culture should be developed in children in their young stage. It is not important that we live but how we live matters.”
On the occasion Basuma Kodagu said, “Physical development occurs from conception to 90 days after birth, while psychological development up to age 13. Parental love, physical touch, and continuous attention is important until adolescence. Parents should listen to their children's opinion, their words, and feelings completely. Mobile phones do not spoil children. But it is crucial for parents to teach responsible usage. You have to face and fight against all the currents in the world and reach the shore successfully."

When I was in fourth grade I was inspired by the speech of Dr. by Shivaram Karanth, how he grew up from extreme poverty and today making records at the international level, giving examples of the many challenges faced in his life, Jaycee national trainer, computer designer, theatre and film director, psychotherapist”, said Basuma Kodagu.
Dr T J Quadros, principal, welcomed the gathering and said, “Children learn from their parents. When parents prioritize time, children also learn the value of time. Man is a great imitator. Parent’s love, care, touch, and time are very important and precious in a child’s development.
Parents expressed their deep appreciation of the training and expressed their opinion that this training should be done for the students also. During the Q and A session, parents clarified their queries.
