Mangaluru, Jul 5: Holy Spirit English Medium school Mukka celebrated Helpers Day to honour the non-teaching staff on Friday, July 5. On this special occasion the school management, staff and students paid their special respect to Jecintha Fernandes and Malathi who work as non-teaching staff at the school. They work hard to keep the school premises clean and tidy.
During the programme the children entertained the audience with songs and dance. Children also enacted a drama which showed the importance of work in our life.
Fr Stany Pinto, the correspondent of the school, appreciated the work of the non-teaching staff and called upon the students to do their daily day-to-day work by themselves and not to depend on others.
Sr Kavya SND headmistress of the school thanked the non-teaching staff and gave them memorable gifts.
Under the able guidance of teachers Sarika and Asha along with classes V and X students the programme took its shape to perfection.
PTA vice-president Shanti and members of PTA were present during the occasion.
On behalf of the non-teaching staff Jacintha Fernandes thanked everyone for organising such a meaningful celebration in their honour.
