Mangaluru, Apr 24: Puberty is a significant phase in a person’s life where physical, emotional, and mental changes take place. It is a time of growth, self-discovery, and learning to navigate new experiences.
St Agnes School CBSE organized a session for students on puberty and menstrual hygiene on March 27 at Block II Hall. Dr Diya Mathen, a well-known gynaecologist addressed the students. She emphasized the importance of understanding these natural processes and encouraged an open dialogue to dispel myths and promote a healthy attitude towards puberty and menstrual hygiene.
Students enthusiastically participated in the session. Sr Sweedal Fernandes AC, the academic coordinator, introduced the speaker and welcomed he gathering. Teacher Preema Roshni proposed vote of thanks by expressing gratitude towards the speaker for giving awareness to the students about puberty and menstrual hygiene.
