Moodbidri, Apr 13: The Carmel School Moodbidri organized a vibrant and enriching summer camp aimed at providing a holistic learning experience for its students.The camp was organised from April 1 to 11 in the school premises. The camp was inaugurated by Sr Preena A.C, the vice principal along with teachers and students, was designed to offer a break from routine academics while fostering confidence, creativity, and lasting memories.
The primary objective of the camp was to offer students an opportunity to engage in diverse activities outside their usual academic curriculum. It aimed to foster confidence and creativity among students and also provided a platform to learn new skills and hobbies.
The camp featured a diverse range of activities catering to various interests and skill sets. These activities included fitness activities such as Zumba. Art and craft sessions focusing on creativity and hands-on learning. Practical workshops on preparing food items without fire. Music and dance sessions featuring action songs and choreographed routines. An array of engaging and interactive indoor activities was meticulously organized for our pre-primary students. These activities included dynamic ball-passing games, collaborative group challenges, bead collection tasks, sorting exercises, and captivating number games.
The summer camp was made even more memorable with a trip to the scenic Kadalekere Nisargdhama, where students basked in the beauty of nature and enjoyed a plethora of outdoor activities On the final day of summer camp, a delightful luncheon followed by ice cream was served, marking a sweet conclusion to our wonderful time together. The closing ceremony was a heartfelt affair where each student was honored with a complimentary prizes, celebrating their participation and achievements throughout the camp by Sr Gracilda A.C. the principal and Sr Rosy, the cordinator.Those who excelled in various activities received special gifts, acknowledging their hard work and enthusiasm. Rajesh Mascrenehas sponsored for the books which was given to the students of summer camp. The closing ceremony was compered by Sanvi Reona .Anora and Preston shared their experiences of summer camp. Neha delivered the vote of thanks.
The summer camp proved to be a resounding success, with participants actively engaging in the various activities offered. Through a diverse range of activities, students were able to break away from their routine and explore new interests, make new friends, and create lasting memories.
