Mangaluru: St Agnes College organizes 'Parivarthan 2024' life skills training programme

Mangaluru, Mar 30: St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru organized 'Parivarthan 2024', Life Skills Training Programme and Talent Show for the cadets to celebrate the unity and discipline of NCC Cadets on March 27.

The event was inaugurated by Lt Col Gracian Sequeira, administrative officer 18 Karnataka Batallion NCC Mangaluru and was presided by Sr Dr M Venissa AC, the principal, Capt Gayathri B K, ANO Army Wing and Flg Officer Dr Hitakshi B, ANO Air Wing were also present.

The resource speaker for the session was Sachita Nandagopal, executive director, Center for Integrated Learning, youth eadership mentor and motivational speaker.On the occasion Lt Col Gracian Sequeira spoke about the NCC unity, role of self reliance and called the cadets to make best use of the opportunities. Sr Dr M Venissa AC, in her presidential note addressed the students regarding various strategies to be successful. Dr Hitakshi B, Flg. Officer welcomed the gathering and Capt Gayathri B K, expressed words of gratitude. The college NCC wings organised various competitions like model making, reels making, painting, cultural and best cadet. Cadets from thirteen colleges participated in the events.

The fest concluded with the valedictory programme. Wing Commander Praveen Bishnoi. Commanding Officer, 6 Air Sqn Mangaluru was the chief guest. The event concluded with the announcement of winners. The overall championship was won by Govind Das College Surathkal, and Sacred Heart College, Madanthyar won the runners-up trophy.
