Mangaluru, Feb 16: The delegation of the parents of St Gerosa school children has submitted a memorandum to the city police commissioner urging him to withdraw the case registered against the MLAs and register a case against the teacher concerned regarding the St Gerosa school incident.
The delegation has complained that Sr Prabha has made derogatory statements against Hindu Gods and the prime minister in the classroom.
“FIRs are registered against MLA Vedavyas Kamath and two corporators who had visited the school following our requests. MLA Y Bharath Shetty and Sharan Pumpwell of Bajrang Dal were not at the spot during protests in the school. Therefore, the case should be withdrawn,” urged the delegation in their request.
