Mangaluru: St Gerosa issue – Parents urge police commissioner to withdraw case against MLAs

Mangaluru, Feb 16: The delegation of the parents of St Gerosa school children has submitted a memorandum to the city police commissioner urging him to withdraw the case registered against the MLAs and register a case against the teacher concerned regarding the St Gerosa school incident.

The delegation has complained that Sr Prabha has made derogatory statements against Hindu Gods and the prime minister in the classroom.

“FIRs are registered against MLA Vedavyas Kamath and two corporators who had visited the school following our requests. MLA Y Bharath Shetty and Sharan Pumpwell of Bajrang Dal were not at the spot during protests in the school. Therefore, the case should be withdrawn,” urged the delegation in their request.

    According to the rules framed by the institution , those who go against it will be terminated from the school .The school management can do it because you have signed it. The issue could have been solved within the school premises itself . If you have read the rules printed in your childs calender and understood it , this situation wouldnt have arised today.Parents remember future of your child is in your hand . No representatives, politicians will pay your childs school fees . Stand for justice. Give a appeal for fair enquiry

    These days adults and children are more into internet , Mobile games. In most cases we see children distracted away from studies. Incomplete notes / hw itself are requested from classmates at one point during the academics. How is the lessons taught (7 periods) transmitted 100%. Social media is more adopted than relationships. If at all to withdraw the FIR let the person spreading the audio clip take courage and take responsibility of all that happened till now.

    School must call the MLA and have a meeting with him . Discuss with him and resolve the matter. Take back the complaint against Mla and also reinstate the teacher . Both must assure each other so in future such a situation doesnt arise . In school all children are same and to be treated equally without iota of diffrences and all are same there (M/S gerosa has a good name ). If needed religious leaders can attend the meeting . Local polticians to be kept out of the meeting and so as self proclaimed leaders of community . Alternately MLA can call the school and conduct a meeting and show maturity .Afterall MLA is good person and will reciprocate well and we must treat him respectfully . Headmistress is school leader and capable and knows the importance of peace and will fully capable of controlling situation. Political leaders who want to catch christian votes are aggrevating the situation and a small incident is blown into a bigger problem for political reasons .

    Now the parents want the agents of the saffron brigade to be free. There is a case for instigating minors to sloganeer against the school and teachers. There are students who will be affected by fear to attend school. The agents of the saffron brigade have used minors for their political/vested gains. Finally the parents should know that the saffron agents have used their own children to rage a conspiracy against the school.     Sharavan, prove that they were instigated. Any heresay is nonsense. Do you know what has actually happened in class. It may be the same case where a kid poisoned a teacher because of low marks last time. Wait for the final report. As per Indian law even a murderer cannot be convicted without proof and substantial evidence. Looking at the comments in this recent episode we can easily calculate the number of venomous minds in Mangalore against one particular community. Remember the saying: pratyaksha kandaru pramanisi nodabeku. Let this incident be thoroughly investigated. Also if and if the nun is at fault, the goondas who fueled this issue are double at fault. They could have easily guided the parent towards the normal protocol to be followed. If the leaders behave this way, what could we expect from the flock?
